When is the best time to visit?

The high travel season in the Faroe Island is from April to September, but you can come to the Faroe Island year-round. Your decision should depend on what you are seeking.

However, keep in mind that weather in the Faroe Island can be unpredictable throughout the year, with rapid changes and occasional rains. If you’re intrested in birdwatching, the spring and early summer months are also favorable as many migratory birds visit the islands during this time.

If you are seeking a unique experience, winther can be magical, with the possibility of witnessing the Northern Lights and enjoying a quieter atmosphere. Just be prepared for colder temperatures and shorter daylight hours.
